The 15.5" PoE Powered Low Voltage Installer’s Dream Monitor was expertly designed specifically for low voltage professionals and is packed with features that allow for extensive customization. This monitor runs completely off Power over Ethernet (PoE), meaning it is powered by a single network cable such as CAT5 or CAT6. There is no need to hire an electrician to install a nearby electrical receptacle. Simply run a standard network cable from a PoE injector or PoE switch to the monitor and it will power on, with installation distances up to 328 feet from the PoE source. This makes it ideal for CCTV systems, digital signage, custom projects, retail environments, medical applications, and more. A 90-watt PoE injector is included in the package. In addition to being powered by PoE, the monitor features PoE passthrough output, allowing excess PoE power to be delivered through the LAN output port to power IP cameras, decoders, or other PoE-powered devices. The LAN output also functions with non-PoE devices. Installers can choose to route the PoE output to an external connection on the case or internally using a patch cable to power devices mounted inside the enclosure. To further expand installation flexibility, the monitor also includes a 12V DC output that can power accessories such as decoders, mini PCs, or digital signage equipment. Both internal and external DC connection options are available via terminal blocks. All LAN connections support 10/100/1000 Gigabit speeds for fast and reliable data transfer. A total of 56 watts of available power is shared between the PoE outputs and the 12V DC outputs, providing ample power allocation for connected devices. The built-in rear enclosure provides dedicated space to store accessory devices inside the monitor housing. By removing the back cover, installers gain access to internal HDMI and 12V DC connections, removable DIN rails for mounting hardware, and multiple mounting points throughout the enclosure for flexible device installation. The Universal Standoff Set (U-STANDOFF, sold separately) can be used to mount a wide variety of accessories securely inside the case. The commercial-grade metal construction includes several features specifically designed for professional installations, including an internal tamper-proof monitor control button cover. The monitor can be controlled using the included remote control and optional peel-and-stick IR receiver for concealed installations. Removable access ports on the top and bottom of the rear enclosure allow easy cable pass-through and convenient access to accessory device controls when needed. The high-definition display delivers Full HD 1080p resolution at 60Hz and includes one internal HDMI input, two external HDMI inputs, one external VGA input, and one USB power output rated at 1 amp. • 12V DC Output - As if POE output power wasn't a cool enough feature, we pushed it over the top with an additional 12V DC Output that can be used to power accessories such as Decoders, Mini PCs, Digital Signage, etc. Choose to connect to the external DC output or the internal DC output via the terminal blocks.
• Gigabit Speeds & Ample Power Allocation - All LAN connections are rated at 10/100/1000 Gigabit speeds for fast data transfer. Also, a total of 56 watts is to be shared among the POE outputs and 12V DC Outputs.
